Body Positive Policy The International Fuller Woman Expo is a body positive event. Body positive means this event encourages everyone to develop a positive mind-body relationship, no matter what your shape or size. A body positive approach empowers people to recognize and reject negative societal perceptions and live free from the self-criticism that hinders us from living a more purposeful and rewarding life. We believe in the Health at Every Size® (HAES) model of healthcare, where everyone has the capacity to be healthy regardless of weight. We do not encourage weight loss. Instead, we encourage a lifestyle where health and happiness is the focus, rather than a lower number on the scale. Vendors who participate in diet culture are strictly prohibited.
