CURVY BRIDAL SET TO HIT TLC Sisters Yuneisia and Yukia Harris, Owners of Curvaceous Couture, a plus-size bridal boutique in Maryland will be featured on TLC on August 1 with the new hit show Curvy Brides. ABOUT CURVY BRIDES CURVY BRIDES, the savvy Harris sisters own a unique bridal salon where curvy brides experience their dream of finding the perfect wedding dress. This Maryland-based boutique shows viewers how the ideal gown can come in all shapes and sizes CURVY BRIDES follows the sisters of Curvaceous Couture on their quest to help women of every shape seamlessly slip into the gown of their dreams. After starting in their father's basement, the Harris sisters put no limits on what they can offer their brides, from sequins and satin to organza and lace. CURVY BRIDES kicks off with a 30-minute special featuring a fuchsia gown, a mermaid-inspired style, and a bride's final fitting which produces very unexpected results.

We have an exciting new initiative to share. We are always looking for new and exciting ways to connect. Fashion and fellowship is always a good combination! We are having our first ever Network Sip and Shop hosted by Daily Venus Diva and the Network June 7th from 10am to 5pm. The first annual Sip and Shop is free and open to the public and will have vendors with gently used and new items, most pieces are over 70 to 90 percent off the original prices! We will also have some great food and something to sip on! As always are events have a dual purpose. We will be collecting gently used and new suits for survivors of domestic violence who will be given your generous gift during SAFE's O.P.E.N. Business conference in October. In 2009, Sisters Acquiring Financial Empowerment (SAFE) was selected as the recipient of partial proceeds from the first Fuller Woman Expo in the US. During this event we established our long term support and commitment to SAFE's mission of assisting domestic violence survivors establish financial stability. Each year the members of our Network donate time and resources to the women who come through their offices.
